This exciting competition offers filmmakers the chance to showcase their short films, with the top entry receiving a $5,000 cash prize and a distribution offer from the streamer.

Competition Rules and Details:
- Submission Dates: the contest is now open for submissions and closes on November 1, 2024.
- Film Requirements: entries must be between 10-30 minutes in length and have a release date of 2022 or newer.
- Genres: all genres are welcome, from drama and documentary to horror, animation, and experimental films.
- Eligibility: open to filmmakers across North America.
- Prizes: the winner will receive a $5,000 cash prize, a round-trip ticket and have their film featured on Mometu’s streaming platform.
- Judging Criteria: judging will be based on a verified external voting system (50%) as well as overall metrics (50%) including viewership, watch time, and completion rate, with the winner decided by a panel of judges.
